Just as Annie Thorisdóttir, Katrin Tanja Davidsdóttir and Sara Sigmundsdóttir are changing the way women are viewed and treated in sports through their incredible accomplishments in CrossFit, at CFJ we have our own generation of “dottirs” who have been standing on the sidelines patiently waiting for their moment to jump in the game. We have watched these young girls beam with pride as their moms lift weights and push themselves to become better versions of themselves. We have watched these moms and other women at CFJ stop worrying about how their bodies look and start celebrating what their bodies can do. In all of these exciting transformations, an idea was born. Sara had a vision for a program that would promote health, community and strength for young women. So now we introduce….Jane’s Dottirs, a group of young women, coached by women, working together to become the best versions of themselves.
Starting this week, we will be running a group of fundamentals for young girls (ages 12-16).

It will be the same price as our regular fundamentals. $125 per person for the 6 classes. Upon graduation girls can opt to purchase a punch card ($50 or $100-$10 per class). Once the program is established and we have a more concrete plan for Jane’s Dottirs specific classes we will revisit the rates. Girls will be allowed to attend our regular classes. We hope to add a class for the girls two days a week on either M/W/F 4:30 pm. Please contact Jaime if you have questions.
